My philosophy

One of the biggest obstacles to learning a language isn’t memorising vocabulary or even understanding complicated grammar, it is having the confidence to speak.

Many of us suffer from foreign language anxiety and the fear of making mistakes, so much so that we would rather just stay silent. While talking to a AI can help up to a point, nothing beats human connection and learning from a real person.

My aim as a coach is to provide a safe space where students can practise using the language and receive gentle error correction and feedback. By giving you vocabulary and correct phrases, I can help you find a way to sound natural and be yourself in the target language.

Consistency is key, there are so many free language learning resources out there, including AI, so I believe independent practice combined with real conversation and feedback from me is the best way forward. Always remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day, practice makes perfect and learning a language is a marathon, not a sprint, so take time to ENJOY!
