A passion for languages, art and travel.

I studied Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies at Newcastle University, and then completed a Post-graduate Diploma in Fine Art at UAL, London, while doing the Cambridge English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) course.

Inspired by the light in Spain for my painting, I moved to Murcia in the Southeast in 2002, where I started teaching English in academies and schools. My love of Spanish led me to return to London to do a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages at Goldsmith’s University and teach secondary Spanish in the UK until 2009.

I currently live in Spain with my two bilingual children and teach English and Spanish to people from all over the world. I have recently become an official examiner based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
